Cooper Tires Winterfest Provides Quality Seat Time for Belardi's USF2000 Program
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - (Feb. 16, 2012) - The USF2000 team at Belardi Auto Racing was able to take advantage of quite a bit of track time last week during the Cooper Tires USF2000 Winterfest in Sebring and Palm Beach, Florida.
The young drivers, Australian Roman Lagudi, New York's Luca Forgeois, Perkasie, PA resident Colin Thompson and Fort Collins, CO native Scott Anderson, were on track for two qualifying sessions, four practice sessions and six races, with the exception of Forgeois and Thompson who both missed a race and practice session due to a major crash (Forgeois) and a gearbox problem (Thompson). Both cars were fixed in time, however, to compete in the last few races.
Lagudi was able to capture four top 10 finishes while teammate Anderson garnered one top five and three top tens. Thompson was also able to come away with two top ten finishes, and Forgeois with one top ten.
